I am an experiential learner. I have always been that way. Rather than reading about something in a book or having someone tell me about an experience, I want to find out for myself - to see, feel and experience life first hand. This constant curiosity is what initially brought me to India and has ultimately played an integral role in my journey with yoga, both as a student and as a teacher. I am an avid seeker by nature and am continually finding new ways to learn, grow and experience through my travels, through education and through connecting with cultures and communities all around the world.

Yoga is an incredible equalizer and that is one of the things I love most about it. Most of my life I have felt like an outsider among the insiders and yoga allows me to just be - in alignment with myself, in union with others, in harmony with the collective. Old people, first timers, seasoned practitioners, broken bodies, people in recovery - every body is different. Every day is different. Yet during practice we stand and move together as one.
