Autumn Equinox
Summer is fading in the rearview mirror and somehow we have arrived at…Fall! The foliage is beginning to pop—magenta, burgundy, crimson, bronze, sunflower yellow, bright pumpkin, every imaginable hue of brown, purple and green. We’ve begun to find our new rhythm, our new flow, our new routine.
Most of the Summer of 2024 you could find me teaching in the Movie Hut at The Ojibway Club in Pointe au Baril, Ontario offering classes and privates to cottagers, campers, family and guests. Students of all ages and levels (including a woman who knew me from the late ‘90s in San Francisco!) It’s a true Community Center; a gathering place where we all come together to share, walk, talk, play, break bread and...do yoga!
I also was lucky enough to teach two pop-up classes at the new SALT studio in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada. The owner, Jesse, is lovely inside and out and just opened the space in May. The vibe is AMAZING!!! If you’re ever driving through Algonquin Park, 🛑 here!
This summer I met and practiced with the b,halfmoon founder, Andrea Morris McKay. She is a living example of grit, grace and gratitude. A yogi. A mother. A wife. A world traveler. And, a tireless entrepreneur. b,halfmoon is a B Corporation and offers a broad collection of top shelf products focused on movement, meditation, rest and recovery. Andrea’s favorite color is orange so the packaging on this stuff is so good—it just makes you want to smile! I’m honored to have become a new member of the b,halfmoon community as a brand ambassador and affiliate. I personally love their essential oils and eco-conscious mats! So good!
I also hosted my very first Day Retreat in August with the Fabulous Faryn Thompson, and it was shockingly fun! I’m looking forward to the next Day Retreat with the inspiring Liz Patnode and her team at True Yoga Vermont on Saturday, November 23rd. Perfect timing to fill your tank before the “Holidaze”!
Ahhh, September! An opportunity to start from scratch once again. New schedules, new roles, new moon, new season — a time for growth. This Fall I’m focused on Nature, fun, movement, new skills (watercoloring?!?!?), increasing confidence, and expanding horizons! Get out, connect, stretch and enjoy yourself! #itsallyoga
With tremendous gratitude for each and every one of you, making the world a better place one breath at a time.
Always together in Spirit 💫
PS - I just took a 🧨 Inferno Hot Pilates class with Tessa Litsky with 🏋🏼♀️! She’s teaching in our Hanover space regularly these days—please let us know if you’d like to join in the fun! 🤩😍😎
